What is time? According to the Miriam Webster's dictionary, time is a non spatial continuum that is measured in terms of events which succeed one another from past through present to future.
William Penn said, "Time is what we want the most, but what we use the worst."
How true this is. In today's society our life is spent complaining about every little thing that is going wrong instead of praising God for every little thing that is going right. We spend our time trying to please ourselves and others instead of trying to please God. When our time is over all that matters is what we did for Him. We cannot take earthly things with us, but what we can take is precious souls that we have won to Christ.
It is amazing how fast time really travels. Jordan and I have been married for four months now, and it has been amazing. I couldn’t ask for any better and I wouldn’t trade any of this for the world. We are already half way through our first semester of our last year of college! I feel like we are always doing homework. All our date nights consist of studying for whatever test happens to be the next day, or trying to figure out what homework we might have forgotten to do. If we’re not doing school then he is working and I am usually cleaning the house or cooking dinner. Praise God Jordan was able to get a new job at Wal*Mart with more hours and a higher pay. Now if only I could just get a job! Sunday morning we plan to join Calvary Baptist Church so that we might be able to continue the ministries that we are enjoying. Working with the teen group is always fun. We were able to enjoy a teen conference and get lost in a corn maze. What fun! We are asked to help start a program for the kids called Masters Club, so we will be heading that up soon. Thank you all for your prayers. It means so much to us knowing that we have people bathing us in their prayers. God is truly hearing them and He is blessing us greatly.
Some future plans that we are trying to make as of now would be that of trying to plan our survey trip to Ireland next November. Please pray for us as we continue to plan the dates and gain our support to make this trip.
Determine never to be idle. No person will have occasion to complain of the want of time who never loses any. It is wonderful how much can be done if we are always doing. –Thomas Jefferson

Well, where do I begin? Jordan and I were married May 25th
at 6:00pm. I couldn’t have asked for it to go any better. Everything was
PERFECT!! We spent our honeymoon in Virginia Beach, where the weather was
beautiful and the sites were awesome! To bad it had to go by so fast. Since the
wedding we have hit the ground running, serving the Lord, through our
internship with Calvary Baptist Church in New Philadelphia, Ohio. God has
blessed us with so many great opportunities already these past few weeks. Jordan works full time for the
church studying God’s word, and doing whatever maintenance needs to be done. He
has also been able to preach a couple times, (at a senior outing, and Wednesday
night service) and will be preaching more as the summer continues. I
on the other hand am a stay-at-home wife, for now. I am praying that I am able
to get a job starting in July. God has given us many responsibilities as well,
that we enjoy so much. Pastor Snow has allowed us to work on the bus route and
somewhat do whatever we would like. Our first week of visitation we were able
to get three new riders. Our bus goes out every Sunday morning and right now we
have six that we pick up. We were asked to help out with Calvary’s Kids on
Sunday nights, so Jordan and I take turns each week teaching lessons, playing
games, and singing with all the kids. It’s definitely one of my favorite
ministries to participate in. Studying. Singing specials at church. Working
hard. This internship has been such a joy so far. Please continue to pray for
us as we grow closer to the Lord and closer to each other.
The month of June we have been staying at the Holland’s
house, because we found out that our apartment doesn’t open up until July
first. Well, only one more week! I will be starting to move everything in this
week, getting it all pretty and homey to move in on Saturday! We are bother
excited to have our first place to call home!
This summer God has given me the chance to go to camp twice
as a counselor! I’ve never been, but have always wanted to. July 16-22 Jordan
and I will travel to WV with the teens from our church for a week of fun-filled
camp adventures. Hiking, games, mud holes, and daily preaching services! I
can’t wait. Then at the end of July beginning of August we travel to PA for
another week of camp! I guess God answered my prayers!!!
