What is time? According to the Miriam Webster's dictionary, time is a non spatial continuum that is measured in terms of events which succeed one another from past through present to future.
William Penn said, "Time is what we want the most, but what we use the worst."
How true this is. In today's society our life is spent complaining about every little thing that is going wrong instead of praising God for every little thing that is going right. We spend our time trying to please ourselves and others instead of trying to please God. When our time is over all that matters is what we did for Him. We cannot take earthly things with us, but what we can take is precious souls that we have won to Christ.
It is amazing how fast time
really travels. Jordan and I have been married for four months now, and it has
been amazing. I couldn’t ask for any better and I wouldn’t trade any of this
for the world. We are already half way through our first semester of our last
year of college! I feel like we are always doing homework. All our date nights
consist of studying for whatever test happens to be the next day, or trying to
figure out what homework we might have forgotten to do. If we’re not doing
school then he is working and I am usually cleaning the house or cooking
dinner. Praise God Jordan was able to get a new job at Wal*Mart with more hours
and a higher pay. Now if only I could just get a job! Sunday morning we plan to
join Calvary Baptist Church so that we might be able to continue the ministries that we
are enjoying. Working with the teen group is always fun. We were able to enjoy
a teen conference and get lost in a corn maze. What fun! We are asked to help
start a program for the kids called Masters Club, so we will be heading that up
soon. Thank you all for your prayers. It means so much to us knowing that we
have people bathing us in their prayers. God is truly hearing them and He is
blessing us greatly.
Some
future plans that we are trying to make as of now would be that of trying to
plan our survey trip to Ireland next November. Please pray for us as we
continue to plan the dates and gain our support to make this trip.
Determine never to be idle. No person will have occasion to complain
of the want of time who never loses any. It is wonderful how much can be done
if we are always doing. –Thomas Jefferson
